Greyhound racing can be very involved, so as with horse
racing, we have compiled an entire site to cover the
subject.

In brief, the following bets are normally permitted
at a greyhound race meeting:
Win – A bet on a particular dog
to win.
Place – A bet in a particular
dog to win or come in a placed position (usually first
and second).
Each way – A combination of the
above bets.
Forecast – A prediction of which
two dogs will come first and second, in the correct
order.
Reverse forecast – Two bets combining
two different permutations of two dogs coming first
and second in the correct order.
Tricast - A prediction of which three
dogs will come first, second and third, in the correct
order.
Placer – A six-race place bet
available on the first six and last six races of any
greyhound racing card.
Multiples – There are a wide
range of multiple and accumulator bets on offer, all
available with full or partial cover.
Specials – A range of special
bets may also be available at the bookmaker’s
discretion.
